September 3, 2008: Audio wizard ROB SMITH will address the club. Rob recently returned to Shreveport/Bossier after a stint in Mesa, Arizona. Rob was in California recently, handling the church audio for the Saddleback Church Forum with candidates Obama & McCain. Rob also does audio for motion pictures produced locally and for years travelled with Billy Graham working the audio for the Crusades.
September 10, 2008: LSUHSC Emergency Room – Psychiatric Crisis Unit Counselor AMANDA HARPER will address the club September 10. Ms. Harper is a member of a triage team manning the new Psychiatric Crisis Unit – PCU – which provides assessment of persons in crisis who present at the emergency room. The unit opened in June 2007 and has evolved to a 15 bed unit directed by Dr. James Patterson.
September 17, 2008: Larry Pierce will introduce the club to "Cross Trail Outfitters" - an organization where boys and young men engage in awesome outdoor volunteer jobs.
